2019 Youth Holiday Party!
Youth had a blast at the 2019 YES youth holiday party. The youth gingerbread house contest this year was hard to judge since all of the houses were so amazing… and tasty!
The World’s Big Sleep out 2019
YES was honored to participate in this years The World’s Big Sleep Out with Charity On Top. We were in awe of the all star performers Meghan Trainor, Seth Green, Ziggy Marley, Ellie Goulding and Randy Jackson!
Young People To The Front
YES had an amazing time participating in Young People to the Front: the First Annual Los Angeles Coalition to End Youth Homelessness (LACEYH) Policy and Advocacy Summit! Two of our YES youth advocates helped lead and plan the summit. They were both able to participate in making their voice heard with local council members and even guest hosted on a national podcast.
YES 2019 Labor Day BBQ!
Staff and youth had a great time over the summer celebrating labor day with our yearly BBQ. Youth played life size Jenga, musical chairs and enjoyed the sunshine!
